(More customer reviews)We bought this book to use as part of our homeschooling unit on our homestate of Michigan. I have looked through several other books for kids about Michigan and I must say how impressed I am with this one. My 8 yr old daughter, 12 year old son and 14 yr old son all really like it. The actual color photos are great as some books just use illustrations. The book is written so a younger child can read it, but older kids can still enjoy it. We can't wait to take some of the day trips that the book recommends.

(More customer reviews)This is a really cute little book, but a word of warning to those of you who prefer to learn about the idiomatic sayings of American English: this book is more for those who are interested in British English. There are a few sayings which cross over into both British and American English, but it is predominantly British. Still, it's a cute read for a short flight.
