(More customer reviews)We bought this book to use as part of our homeschooling unit on our homestate of Michigan. I have looked through several other books for kids about Michigan and I must say how impressed I am with this one. My 8 yr old daughter, 12 year old son and 14 yr old son all really like it. The actual color photos are great as some books just use illustrations. The book is written so a younger child can read it, but older kids can still enjoy it. We can't wait to take some of the day trips that the book recommends.

We tried a couple of the activites and the kids had a wonderful time playing the games. I had to order a copy. The games promote cooperation and team work. The book is easy to read and appropriate for both young and old.
