Average Reviews:
(More customer reviews)This anthology has a rich variety of topics and mix of styles (free verse, haiku, tanka, short stories). I particulary like the way the author puts little twists in the plots and verse... they really make you think, which is what poetry is supposed to do. My faves: "Focus", a poem that says as much about the author's theology as her view of gardening, and "The Span" a short story about an alien space traveler finding love, losing it to the ages, and finding it again. All in all, it is quite simply a really fun read. I'll give it 5 stars.
