(More customer reviews)This one was first published in 1978 and was selected as a Junior Literary Guild selection, for older readers. The book is not just of interest for junior readers though. It is loaded with much interesting (if not overly technical) information and the black and white illustrations and photographs alone make the book worth owning. The books is well written and quite readable. If you can find a copy and if this is an area of interest, it is certainly one I would recommend for your collection.
