(More customer reviews)I am preparing to homeschool Kindergarten using this book among others. I love the ideas for art projects, games, and recipes for ethnic foods. It really looks to be an amazing book and I'll write back later once I've had a chance to start teaching with it. Use caution when using the provided list of books, since that information can contain errors - and this is why I didn't rate this book at 5 stars. The title may be wrong - off by a word, or words, or letter or two; and the author names contain inaccuracies too. These errors can make looking up a book quite tricky and this is more than just a once or twice occurrence (if it was only once or twice then I wouldn't mention it). Otherwise, I'm so excited to have this book!
October 2007: Well I've used this book a little over a month and I am still quite pleased with it and I know I'll be using it to help teach grades above Kindergarten as well. I like the summarized information the book provides and it is easy to go on the internet or use your local library to add more on a topic for a given area - such as a specific festival that is summarized in the book. There is definetly a lot of activities to do and it is so great to pick through the choices to fit your own child's needs and styles.
